All you get is wet
What’s the use in crying honey
It hasn’t helped us yet

We Cut Corners is the Irish duo of John Duignan and Conall O’Breachain whose music is a delectable almost schizophrenic mix of crisp, melodic noise pop and sparse, poignant guitar pop that in no small way demonstrates the talent of this duo.

The band just released their debut album Today I realized I Could Go Home Backwards and the songs on the album are brilliantly written with a richness in melody (Yet is a prime example of this) that I found very endearing.

Listen to my picks – Yet, Go Easy, It’s A Pirates Life – from We Cut Corners’ debut album below and check out the entire album at Bandcamp.
