Mind Spiders is a Texas-based fuzzy punk-garage rock outfit that started out as a solo, bedroom project of Mark Ryan in 2010. Mark released a self titled debut album last year before expanding Mind Spiders into a full-fledged band (much like Dylan Baldi and Cloud Nothings).
The band released their ‘second’ album Meltdown just last month and it’s a hook filled, reverb and distortion soaked punk/garage rock extravaganza. Have a listen to a couple of my favourites from the album – Wait For Us and You Are Dead – below. In addition to these there are catchy songs like Fall In Line and Play You Out which make Meltdown seriously worth checking out (DO IT!).
