This Newcastle band (if I recall correctly) were on my bands to watch in 2012 list but kinda went quiet after the release of their debut album. Glad to see that Lanterns On The Lake and their gorgeous dream pop is back. 

Another Tale From Another English Town is the exquisite first single from the bands forthcoming second album, out later this year. Watch its video below.

The Dodos 2008 album Visiter is one of my favourite albums of the last few years. That’s why I was excited to hear that the duo is releasing their next album, Carrier, in August this year.

Confidence is the first offering from that album and it’s a classic I tell you! Listen to it below.
